GUARDRAIL:

Guardrail, or Crash Barrier as it is also known, is comprised of "W" shaped beams bolted to vertical posts and are primarily designed to stop out-of-control vehicles crashing through into areas they aren't meant to go.

The standard specification for industrial use is using either groundset posts or 300x300x10mm baseplates. RTA specification however, calls for heavier duty materials, such as using 300x300x20mm baseplates.
